 Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born on May 7, 1998) is an American YouTube personality and an entrepreneur. [6] He has been credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that revolve around expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson posted videos to YouTube when he was 13 using the name "MrBeast6000". His initial content consisted of videos and Let's Plays that analyzed the wealth of other YouTubers. He went viral in 2017 after his "counting up to 100,000" video racked up millions of views in just a few days, and he has grown in popularity since then, with many of his videos receiving thousands of views.Over time his style of content has changed to include challenge and donation videos that award thousands of dollars, videos that include arduous tasks or survival challenges and original video vlogs. Donaldson has had a number of his childhood buddies assist him in managing his expanding channel. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel surpassed 100 million subscribers on the 28th of July 2022.
