Morgan Fairchild is an American actor. She was born Patsy McClenny, on February 3 of 1950. The 1980s were when she became a household name for her appearances on various television shows. She was known for portraying a glamorous persona. Her career in the field began in 1973 as Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. In 1978 she appeared on the primetime soap opera Dallas as the first actress to play Jenna Wade before taking a part in the lead role of the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she received an Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama). In 1984, she starred in ABC's short-lived primetime soap Paper Dolls which followed by a stint on Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts between 1985 and 1986. Fairchild is also a performer in theatre and has played in TV comedies such as Murphy Brown, for which she earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Star in Comedy Series. She serves on the Board of SAG-AFTRA.
